★Project location: Hong Kong Ocean Park Penguin Pavilion
★Equipment list: Evaporative cooled chiller
★Project explanation:
Ocean Park Hong Kong, commonly known as Ocean Park, is marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is the second largest theme park in Hong Kong, after Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as the largest theme park in Hong Kong by area. It is also the second oldest theme park in Hong Kong, after the now-defunct Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park which closed on 31 March 1997.
Project background: The penguins in the penguin hall need the cold storage to control the temperature. The temperature of the penguin hall is controlled at minus 3°C-5°C, which is a very comfortable temperature for the penguins. It is very important to maintain the temperature balance of the cold storage. In view of the tight land use of the Penguin Pavilion and the 24-hour cooling system, Cold Magic’s evaporative cooled chillers meet the above requirements.
1. Integrated design: built-in cooling water pump, heat exchanger, descaler, etc.;
2. Less space occupied: the equipment is light and handy, no cooling tower and cooling water pump are required;
3. Installation block: quick connector for water and electricity, quick installation on site;
4. Energy saving and power saving: The whole machine has a high energy efficiency ratio under standard working conditions, which is more than 15% energy-saving than traditional water-cooled chillers, and more than 30% energy-saving than ordinary air-cooled chillers. The energy efficiency ratio exceeds the international first-class energy efficiency standard.
