★Project explanation:

The Prince of Wales Hospital is a regional acute hospital under the Hospital Authority, also serve as a teaching hospital of the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Medicine. Since 1984, the hospital has been providing the community with comprehensive and professional health care services. The hospital partner closely with the Chinese University, other healthcare institutions and the community to provide quality comprehensive patient care, nurture medical professionals and spearhead medical research.

Base on the special requests from the hospital, Cold Magic recommends the cleanroom air handling unit for medical cleaning and heat pump unit. The air handling unit has the advantages of smooth inner wall without internal corners which can effectively inhibit dust accumulation and bacterial growth, facilitate internal cleaning, resistant to disinfectant corrosion and humid air corrosion. The unit is equipped with large dust-holding and primary and medium-efficiency filters to reduce the initial resistance, which can effectively sterilize and remove peculiar smells.

The air cooled heat pump unit can adopt the form of single operation, or the form of multiple operation, to meet the diverse needs of hospital. Although the space and load of each site are different, the heat recovery efficiency can still reach more than 60%. It can meet the requirements of hot and cold water supply. Fresh air and exhaust air are separated during the heat recovery process, effectively avoiding cross-infection.
